In this mode, the right pedal becomes the sustain
pedal for the right section of the keyboard and the left
pedal becomes the sustain pedal for the left section
of the keyboard. The middle pedal is disabled. This
mode is ideal for teacher/student practices.
When the Duet Button is pressed, the button’s
LED will light up to show that the DUET mode is
engaged. Use the Voice buttons or the Value Dial to
select the voice.
Press the DUET button again to exit the duet
keyboard mode. The Duet LED will turn off.
RECORDING
Recording Your Own Song
The Overture III allows the user to record their own
song on up to two tracks. When a track is recorded,
the recording will be retained until you either delete
the recording, overwrite the track with a new
recording, or reset the Overture III back to factory
settings.
1. Press the [TRACK] Button and select which track
you want to record to using the Value Dial.
2. Press the [PLAY] and [TRACK] buttons together
to begin recording. Both buttons will flash to
indicate that the track is ready to record, and the
display will show “InternalSong Record Tk 1”
(or 2). One you start playing, the Play and Track
button LEDs will stop flashing and remain on to
indicate that the recording is in progress.
3. Press the Play and Track buttons together again,
or just the Play button to stop the recorder.
Then, press Play to hear your song.
4. Repeat the steps above to record to the
other track.
DEMO SONGS
The Overture III comes with 14 demo songs to
demonstrate some of the various sounds that are
included in the piano. See page 43 for a list of demo
songs.
To Play A Demo Song:
Press the [DEMO] button to begin playing a demo
song, and press the Demo button again to stop the
demo. Use the Value Knob to select another song.

Changing the Voice Volume Level
While a demo song is active, the keyboard may be
played alongside the recording. To change the voice
volume in relation to the demo, follow the steps
below.
1. Press the [FUNCTION] button.
2. Turn the Value Dial to select Voice Volume Level
edit menu, the display will show “Main Volume”.
3. Press the Function button again to enter the
parameter edit menu. The FUNC Indicator will
blink to indicate that the number is editable.
4. Turn the Value Dial to select the level of the voice
volume. (0-127)
TUNING
To Change Global Tuning:
1. Press the [FUNCTION] button.
2. Turn the Value Dial to select the Tune edit menu.
The display will show “Master Tune”.
3. Press the Function button again to enter the
parameter edit menu. The FUNC Indicator will
blink to indicate the value is editable.
4. Turn the Value Dial to select the Tuning.
