The POCKETALKER II operates on
either a standard 9 V alkaline or 9 V
Ni-Cad rechargeable battery.

1. Open the battery compartment on
the bottom of the POCKETALKER II
by lifting the tab.
2. Press a standard 9 V alkaline or 9 V
Ni-Cad rechargeable battery into
place, being careful to observe cor-
rect placement of (+) and (–) ter-
minals.
3. Close the battery compartment by
pressing the lid shut.
