IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attachments or accessories,
and before cleaning.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions,
or it is dropped, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer Service for examination,
repair or adjustment.
The use of attachments, including canning jars, cups or covers not recommended
or sold by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
Do not let cord contact hot surfaces, including the stove.
Do not blend hot liquids.
CAUTION:
Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Use the blade’s collar to handle.
Always completely assemble the blending blade to the blending cup before placing on the motor base.
This blender is turned ON by placing the Cup and the blade assembly into the motor base and turning
clockwise until locked into position. This blender is turned OFF by twisting the jar and the blade assembly
counterclockwise and unlocking from the motor base.
CAUTION: AVOID CONTACT WITH MOVING PARTS.
