2.0. Mounting
2.6. Cardan shaft
The length of the cardan shaft is
to be checked in the working
position and in removed position.
If the cardan shaft is too long,
it must be shortened according to
the description below.
When working with lifted-off
blower, pay attention to the
angle of the cardan shaft. If the
angle exceeds approx. 20°, the
standard cardan shaft must be
exchanged for a wide-angled
cardan shaft of the same size.
The protection for the cardan
shaft has to be fixed with the
safety chain.
2.7. Hydraulic connections
For hydraulic swiveling of the
blow-out nozzle an independently
switchable, double-acting
hydraulic valve is necessary.
The hydraulic hoses of the
swivel mechanism are equipped
with connectors of size 3.
Before coupling, the connectors
and sockets have to be cleaned
thoroughly in order to prevent
impurities from getting into the
hydraulic circuit. The hoses have
to be laid in such a way, that
no shear and abrasion spots can
occur. If necessary, the hoses
have to be fixed at the
appropriate places.
When the blower is dismounted,
the hydraulic connectors should
be protected from damages and
soiling by attaching the dust
guard caps.
