If you wish to stand the unit upright, mount the included aluminum cradle.
Use the illustrations
below as a guide:

Plug in the data cable.
The SilverSATA I connects to your computer through either fast eSATA or
USB2. One end of the cable connects to the back of the unit. Insert the other end into an available port
on your computer.

Plug in the power adapter.
The DIN connector from the AC adapter connects to the back of the
unit. Plug the wall cord into an electrical outlet, as shown above.
Your SilverSATA I is now ready to use! Turn on the power switch on the back of the unit. The LED will
glow red when power is on. If you are connected through USB, the LED will flicker purple when data is
accessed.
If your drive is already formatted, you can begin using the unit right away. New hard drives will need to
be formatted before they can be used.
