OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction manual carefully.
1. INTENDED USE
This tool is intended for twist into or twist out screw, also suitable for drilling hole in metal, wood,
plastic or similar materials.
2. BEFORE USING YOUR TOOL
Your battery pack is uncharged and you must charge once before use. When you charge the new
battery or one which has not been used for long periods of time, your battery pack may not be fully
charged until you have performed several charge and discharge operations by charging & working
with your tool. After this your battery pack performance will improve.
Warning: The charger and battery pack are specifically designed to work together so do
not attempt to use any other devices.
2. BATTERY CHARGING
1) Be sure the supply is the same as the voltage given on the nameplate of the battery charger.
Connect battery charger to charger base, then connect battery charger to power source, and power
indicator on charger base is illuminated in green color
(See Fig 1).
2) Slide charger base into battery pack. When the charger base is inserted, the power indicator
went out, and the charging indicator is illuminated in red color, charging has started
(See Fig 2).
3) When the charging indicator went out, and the power indicator is illuminated in green color, the
charging cycle is complete.
4) After charging, unplug the charger from the power source and remove the battery pack from the
charger base immediately.
Warning: Do not operate tool or charger near flammable liquids or in gaseous or
explosive atmospheres. Internal sparks can ignite fumes.
Note: After long usage the battery pack will become hot, allow the hot battery to cool down for 15
minutes before recharging.
3. INSTALLING OR REMOVING BATTERY PACK
1) Always switch off the tool before insertion or removal of the battery pack.
2) To remove the battery pack, withdraw it from the tool while pressing the battery pack release
button on the back of the battery pack (See Fig 3).
3) To insert the battery pack, align the tongue on the battery pack with the groove in the housing
and slip it into place. Always insert it all the way until it locks in place with a little click. If not, it may
accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you.
4. VARIABLE SPEED TRIGGER SWITCH
To turn on your tool, simply pull the switch trigger. Tool speed is increased by increasing pressure
on the switch trigger. Release the switch trigger to stop (See Fig 4).
