Your hearing aid is a sophisticated instrument that can
be adjusted to your requirements in consultation with
your hearing care professional.
All illustrations in this booklet
show a right-ear hearing aid.
Unless otherwise stated, the
same principles apply to the left
ear.

The hearing aid
1. Microphone openings , where the sound enters the
hearing aid.
2. Volume control for fine tuning of volume is availa-
ble on some models.
3. Program button for choosing between different
listening programs.
4. On/off function , which is integrated into the bat-
tery compartment cover.
5. Nail grip
on the battery compartment cover for
easy opening
6. Sound outlet , through which the amplified sound
from the hearing aid reaches your ear.
7. Widex wax guard
8. Relief vent
for ventilation of the ear canal. (Not in
all models).
