1380GACg 1380CAFg McKenzie Cal-King Bookcase Storage Bed 

Assembly Instructions 

This assembly requires two people.

 

1380GACg_1380CAFg — Page 6 — 09/17 

 

Tools Required: Phillips screwdriver, Slotted screwdriver, 7/16" open end or box end wrench 
and Tape measure. 
 
Note: The Headboard Assembly can be separated into three pieces for ease of maneuvering 
through narrow halls and stairways; if you need to perform this process see steps 17 through 
21. 

 
1. 

Remove the Trestles (Da) and Assembled Feet (Ua) from the backs of the Footboard (Ba) and 
place them off to the side. See Figures 1 and 1a. 
 

 

2. 

Place both Pedestals (Ic) approximately 74" apart as shown in Figure 2.
