Before using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended to clean it by boiling a full
kettle of water twice. Then empty and wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
• Remove the kettle from the power base.
• Open lid by pressing open lid button (top of the handle).
• Fill with the desired quantity of fresh drinking water. The water level should not exceed
max. level or sit below the min. level.
• Ensure that the lid is firmly closed.
• Replace the kettle on the power base.
• Connect the plug to the power outlet.
• Press down the ON/OFF switch at the back of the kettle. The water level illuminates blue.
• The kettle automatically switches off once the water has boiled.
• Lift the kettle from the power base and pour the water slowly.
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection would
automatically switch off the power.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
