Possible Cause & Solution
No-failure analysis
• Both sides of the refrigerator has a condenser, it is a normal phenomenon to
have heat dissipation
during operation.
• The temperature is high inside the refrigerator during the first time operation, cooling time will be
longer.
• Due to the high flow rate of refrigerant in the capillary within the refrigeration system, water running
sounds may occur sometimes.
• When the humidity is high, it is a normal phenomenon
to have
dew appearing on the refrigerator
surface and
particularly near the door sealing.
• Buzz: Buzz will be generated by running compressor specially when starting up or shutting down.
• Clatter: The solenoid valve or electric switch valve will clatter which is a normal phenomenon and
does not affect the operation.
• The refrigerating chamber will periodically frost and defrost (water drops will be generated on the
backside of the refrigerating chamber when defrosting) which
is
normal.
• When closing one of the doors, the another one may be opened because
o
f the air flow pressure,
which
is
normal.
Trouble Shooting
For following troubles, check the possible cause and solution
before calling for services
. If the
problems still cannot be solved, please contact Whirlpool service centre.
• Check if the power is connected; voltage is too low;
power cord is firmly plugged
• Check if food storage is overcrowded
• Check if there are too many cooked food stored
• Check if the door opens frequently or open the door for
too long
• Check if dissipation space around the refrigerator is
enough (Please refer to Page 24 of suggestions)
• Check if the doors are shut properly or the door seal is
damaged or deformed
• Check if the placement too close to stoves or sunlight
• Check if fridge compartment temperature is set too low
• Check if a lot of food placed too close to the back wall,
or food is too moist.
• Check if the floor is flat or the refrigerator is placed
steadily
• Check if refrigerator touches the wall or other objects
• Check if all accessories are in right place
• Check if refrigeration pipelines inside compressor touch
each other
• Bottles or containers fallen or rolling
