Removing the Fan Assembly
Component Access (continued)
To remove the fan assembly:
1. Unplug air conditioner or disconnect power.
2. Remove front panel, (see "Removing Front Panel").
3. Remove 6 screws that secure the fan
shroud. Two of the screws are hidden under
foam pads on each side of the condenser on
top. Use a large flat blade screw driver or
a putty knife to expose the screw, taking
care not to damage foam pad as it should be
reused during reasembly. (see figure 1 and 2).

Remove 2 screws on the left side of the
condenser, (see figure 3).
Use an extention to reach the 2 screws on
the base, (see figure 4).
