Press and hold the Programme button and the
Dosing Aid button simultaneously .
“1” appears on the display, which means water
level “soft” .

Turn the knob to adjust the water level to .
2 = Medium
3 = Hard
and press the knob to confirm . As soon as
you confirm the water hardness setting, you
automatically exit the water hardness setting
mode .
ADAPT THE WASHING MACHINE TO YOUR
LOCAL WATER HARDNESS
The washing machine comes with preset water
hardness level soft .
Check your regional water hardness level, for
example by consulting your local authorities or via
internet . – If your local water hardness is not “soft”,
adjust the washing machine as follows:

To save these values in the washing machine:

Select the programme for which you
want to save the detergent value .
2.
Press and hold the Dosing Aid button until
the bottle symbol on the display lights up . The
indicators of all programmes for the detergent
group light up .

Turn the knob to adjust the dosing value
to the one you have identified before on the
detergent pack . Afterwards confirm it by pressing
the knob .
4.
Do this procedure for all three programme
groups . It is enough if you save the dosing value
for one programme per group – it will then be
automatically saved for all other programmes of
this group .
To return to the factory settings: select and confirm
“rES” as described in step 3 .
