Disassembling Refrigerator 

Compartment Components – 

Water Filter Housing

Remove the water filter as explained earlier.  

1. Remove the ¼” screw securing the filter  

  cover to the filter body.

   

2. Remove the cover.

3. Remove the ¼” screw securing the filter  

  body to the cabinet wall.

   

4. To replace the filter housing, disconnect  

  the water tubes in the back of the 

  refrigerator and remove Permagum    

  seal. Pull the filter housing and water   

  tubes through the opening in the cabinet  

  and replace.
