Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your b uilding.

Immediately call your gas supplier from a neigh b or's phone. Follow the gas supplier's
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
– Installation and service must b e performed b y a qualified installer, service agency, or
the gas supplier.
• Clear the room, b uilding, or area of all occupants.

To reduce the ri s k of fire, electric s hock, or injury to per s on s when u s ing the dryer, follow ba s ic precaution s ,

■ Read all in s truction s before u s ing the dryer.
■ Do not place item s expo s ed to cooking oil s in your dryer.
Item s contaminated with cooking oil s may contribute to
a chemical reaction that could cau s e a load to catch fire.
■ Do not dry article s that have been previou s ly cleaned in,
wa s hed in, s oaked in, or s potted with petrol, dry-
cleaning s olvent s , or other flammable or explo s ive
s ub s tance s a s they give off vapor s that could ignite or
explode.
■ Do not allow children to play on or in the dryer. Clo s e
s upervi s ion of children i s nece ss ary when the dryer i s
u s ed near children.

Before the dryer i s removed from s ervice or di s carded,
remove the door to the drying compartment.
■ Do not reach into the dryer if the drum i s moving.
■ Do not repair or replace any part of the dryer or attempt
any
s ervicing unle ss s pecifically recommended in thi s
U s e and Care G uide or in publi s hed u s er-repair
in s truction s that you under s tand and have the s kill s to
carry out.
■ Do not u s e fabric s oftener s or product s to eliminate s tatic
unle ss recommended by the manufacturer of the fabric
s oftener or product.
■ Article s s uch a s foam rubber (latex foam), s hower cap s ,
water proof textile s , rubber backed article s and clothe s ,
pillow s fitted with foam rubber pad s s hould be dried on a
clothe s line.
■ Clean lint s creen before or after each load.
■
Keep area around the exhau s t opening and adjacent
s urrounding area s free from the accumulation of lint, du s t,
and dirt.

■ The interior of the dryer and exhau s t vent s hould be
cleaned periodically by q ualified s ervice per s onnel.

to the weather.
