Move the directional controller directly to the right to pivot the Model A clockwise. Move the directional
controller directly to the left to pivot counter-clockwise.
Safety check before driving 4.11
INFORMATION
•
Please have someone accompany you the first time you drive your Model A.
•
Have a cell phone or communication device with you in event that you encounter any
issues while driving.
CAUTION
Check around you for loose clothing or other material that may snag on the product
before moving the seat backwards. Be sure to gather any objects up and move them out
of the way before moving the seat backward.
Driving checklist for the Model A: 4.11.1
•
Make sure the unit is turned on.
•
Make sure the controller arm is in the lowered, locked position.
•
Make sure the unit has sufficient battery charge to take you to your destination (see
section titled Checking Battery Charge Level).
•
Always begin driving at the slowest speed setting (with the speed switch closest to
you; refer to Figure 23).
