For drainage purposes, the speaker must be oriented so that the wire passage hole
is in the “6 o’clock” position (closest to the road). This is also the drain hole for the siren. Improper

1. Remove the protective plastic cover under the
hood toward the front of the vehicle (Fig. 1).
2. To access the mounting area, remove the 2
bolts that secure the hood latch assembly and
set the assembly aside without disconnecting
the cables (Fig. 2).
IMPORTANT! The hood latch assembly must
be remounted in the exact position it now
sits or the hood will not close properly.
Clearly mark the exact location of the hood
latch before removing.

“Mounting the speaker to the bracket”
).
4. Mount the speaker bracket to the vehicle. First
secure the top part of the bracket using the
existing hardware indicated (Fig. 2). The
vehicle grill is flexible and can be pulled
forward to allow the bracket and speaker to fit.

6. Be sure all hood latch cables are properly located, then re install the hood latch assembly.
Refer to vehicle manufacturers specifications for the correct torque value when tightening
the hood latch screws.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the two bolt heads line up with the guides you drew, so the
hood latch assembly reinstalls in the exact same position.
7. Extend WHITE (positive) and BLACK (negative) speaker wires to your siren amplifier and
connect as shown in the amplifiers instructions.
8. Replace the protective cover that you removed in step 1.
