Before Mounting: Be sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface. Housings are contour-cut to self locate to the
areas indicated in the illustrations. Lightheads must project parallel with the road.

1. Hold the housing up against the vehicle mounting surface and follow figures 1 & 2 for your model to

position the housing. Once you get the housing into the approximate position move the housing very
slightly until it fits to the surface perfectly. The housings are cut specifically for the vehicles contours.
When they are in their exact mounting location they will fit perfectly. For the

High Roof

 model,

the measurements shown will get the housing to it’s approximate mounting location. For the

Mid Roof

model place the housing onto the vehicle and use Figures 3 & 4 to position

the housing. On the

Mid Roof

model the front housing will curve slightly over the

top of the roof.

2. Next place a level on the top of the housing to make sure it sits level with the

road. Also place the level on the front of the housing to make sure the light
projects straight forward and not up or down. With the housing in position, mark
the four mounting hole locations onto the mounting surface using the housing as
a template. Also mark off the location of the wire hole within the center slot. Refer
to the lighthead manual for size and location.

3. Install the supplied rubber gasket onto the rear of the housing. Start the gasket at

the bottom of the housing. The gasket will be longer than needed so you will have to
cut the excess to fit.

4. Drill the mounting holes with a drill bit sized for the #6 sheet metal screws supplied with

your housing. You will also need to drill a wire passage hole. Refer to the lighthead
manual for the wire hole position and size.

CAUTION: When mounting onto fiberglass, after you drill the mounting holes,
chamfer the top of the hole to prevent the fiberglass from cracking with use.

5. Install a rubber grommet (customer supplied) into the wire passage hole and install

the wire harness into the hole leaving just enough wire extending from the vehicle to
connect to the lighthead. Apply RTV sealer to the wire hole to seal it properly.

NOTE:

It is recommended that you follow the vehicle wire harness when extending
the wire harness to power.

6. Apply RTV sealer to each mounting hole. Feed the wire harness through the flange

and secure the flange to the vehicle using the supplied mounting hardware.

IMPORTANT: Housings have four mounting screws. The two longer screws go
on the top of the housing and the 2 shorter screws go on the bottom.

7. Plug the lightheads connector into the wire harness and mount the lighthead to the flange.
