Safety Notes
ƒ The hand lamp is not a toy. Keep the unit out of reach of children and persons
in need of supervision.
ƒ
To not point the light to persons or animals. Do not stare directly into the light
beam. The LEDs confirm to LED class 1 (according to EN 60825-1:2007).
ƒ Do not use devices which can strongly focus light for viewing the light beam.
ƒ Do not use the hand lamp close to flammable gas, hot subjects, dust, vapours
or solvents.
ƒ Do not expose the hand lamp to extreme temperatures, strong vibration,
moisture or rain. Do not expose the hand lamp to strong mechanical stress.
Do not immerse the hand lamp into liquids.
ƒ Only use the included accessory for charging. Do not charge other devices
with this accessory and do not attempt to charge the hand lamp with other
types of charger.
ƒ When charging the unit in a motor vehicle, use the 12 V adaptors only in a
stationary vehicle with the engine off. It is not allowed to operate the unit from
the electric system of a vehicle while driving.
ƒ Do not jam the cord or pull cord around edges. Do not pinch the power cord in
any way and keep it away from hot surfaces. To unplug the cord, do not pull
the cord but grasp the plug itself.
ƒ Switch off the hand lamp while charging . Charge the battery only in well-
aired rooms. Do not charge the battery at ambient temperatures under 0°C or
over 40°C.
ƒ The hand lamp is protected against overloading. Nevertheless, keep the
recommended charging times.
ƒ Do not disassemble, short-circuit or burn acid lead batteries.
ƒ If the hand lamp or the chargers become damaged, do not use them.
ƒ
Attention! Dangerous Voltage! Changing the fluorescent tube and battery
should only be carried out by skilled professionals only!
ƒ
In the case of questions or problems, turn to our customer support depart-
ment. Do not try to repair it yourself.
