Using
The rotating touch attachment must be placed firmly in the middle of
the rotating object and must spin at the same speed for precise
measuring.
Contact Linear Speed Measurements
1. Attach the surface linear speed measurement
wheel to the shaft (7) at the bottom of the unit.
Make sure the attachment has locked in place
properly.
2. Set the function switch to
M/MIN
or
FT/MIN
to measure either in
the metric or imperial system.
3. Lightly press the measurement wheel against the surface of the
rotating object.
4. Press and hold the
TEST
button. When the reading in the display
remains stable, read the RPM value from the display.
5. After the measurement is completed, release the
TEST
button.
Please Note:
To avoid injury, do not touch any rotating object with your
hand and keep loose clothing, jewellery and loose hair away
from any rotating object!

Recalling Recorded Data
With the
MEMORY
button you can recall the last reading, the
minimum reading and the maximum reading of the last measure-
ment.
After the
TEST
button has been released, the maximum and
minimum values of the last measuring are stored in the instrument.
