Using
Before first use, remove the transparent protection film from the solar
module.
Charging the battery with solar energy
1. To charge the built-in battery in the solar charger with solar energy,
search a place with direct sunlight.
2. Make sure the light falls on the whole surface in a right angle. With the
suction feet you can attach the solar charger on a flat and smooth
surface.
The solar charging indicator (2) lights up and indicates that the battery
is charged. To charge a completely discharged battery with solar
energy you will need approx. 12 to 20 hours.
3. After charging, slide the selector switch (5) to the desired position.
You will find the desired voltage for the consumer on its label or in the
manual of the corresponding consumer.
4. Connect your mobile phone or another consumer such as, digital
camera, MP3 etc. with the solar charger. When connecting the con-
sumer the LED (3) of the solar charger lights up and shows that the
battery is discharged.
Charging the battery with USB
1. To charge the built-in battery with the
delivered USB cord, connect the cord
with the solar charger and a suitable
USB port. The charging indicator (3)
shines during charging. After approx.
3 – 4 hours the LED changes from red
to green and indicates that the battery
of the solar charger is fully charged.
2. After charging, disconnect the USB
cord from the solar charger and the USB port.
