Operating
Troubleshooting
Poor reception indicates that the battery in the remote control
should be replaced. When changing the battery, make sure to
place the battery correctly into the compartment.
If the consumer load, for example the reading lamp cannot be
switched on, check if the device is plugged in or if the illuminant
is defective.
Keep in mind that other wireless applications active on the same
frequency band may cause interference. If possible switch off
those applications while using the remote control.
Changing the Battery
1. Slide the battery compartment lid (7) from the housing. Insert a
fresh battery of the type A23 and observe correct polarity. The
correct polarity symbols are marked inside the battery compart-
ment.
2. Place the lid on the housing and close it until it locks audible.
Maintenance and Cleaning
If you do not use the remote control for a long period of time,
remove the battery.
Do not clean the remote control and the remote-controlled
sockets with abrasives or aggressive chemicals in order no to
damage the surfaces. Only clean the units with a lightly mois-
tened cloth.
Make sure that liquids cannot enter the interior of the remote
control and the sockets.
