9.2

Reset ROD Timer

Should the truck shut down and display fault code 3012, the fault code may
be cleared using the

Reset ROD Timer

menu item under the

service

menu. (Fig. 9.11).

a. Key off the truck.

b. Wait one minute then key on the truck, but do not start engine.

c. Start WEST and establish communication

d. Select

Reset ROD Timer

from the

Service

menu and click

e. The cumulative ROD timer should now be reset.

f. The engine can now be started.
