To turn the sander ON, squeeze the trigger
switch (1) Fig. 5). To turn the sander OFF,
release the trigger switch.

Your sander is equipped with a lock-on
feature, which is convenient when
continuously sanding for extended periods
of time is required (Fig. 6). To lock the
switch ON, depress the trigger switch (1),
push in and hold the lock-on button (2)
located at the left side of the handle, then
release the trigger. Release the lock-on
button and your sander will continue
running. To turn the sander OFF, depress
and release the trigger switch to release
the lock-on button.

To reduce the amount of loose sawdust
produced while sanding, a workshop
vacuum can be attached to the sander by
using the vacuum adapter system.
1. Slide the oval end of the dust port
adapter (1) over the dust port (2) on
the rear of the sander (Fig. 7).

E:
Make sure the locating pin (3) on
the dust port latches into the matching hole
(4) in the dust port adapter.
2. Push and twist the small end of the
vacuum adapter (5) into the dust port
adapter.
3. Insert the vacuum hose into the large
end of the vacuum adapter.
