Safety Notes and Operation
4. Now the slave devices, which will be switched by the master device, can be
connected to the slave sockets (8). The combined maximum load for the
slave sockets is 2000 W. When the master device is turned on, the slave
devices are supplied with power as well.
All sockets are surge protected. This is a basic protection against transient
surges; it does not guarantee reliable protection against massive surges, e.g.
lightening. To protect your telecommunications equipment, the data cable can
be looped through the surge protected sockets (6).
5. The control LED (3) indicates that the surge protector is active. After the
surge protector has been triggered, the LED will remain dark. The surge
protector has been destroyed and the device can no longer be used as surge
protector.
Maintenance and Cleaning
ƒ First disconnect the unit from power mains before cleaning it. Also unplug all
connected devices.

Clean the housing with a dry cloth. Keep all sockets of the master-slave
socket outlet clean and free from dirt.
