Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
ƒ This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating
the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third
party!
ƒ Please read this manual carefully and use the drum fan only in accordance
with the manual.
ƒ Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
ƒ
Keep the fan out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
ƒ Do not leave the unit unsupervised during operation.
ƒ Please make sure the mains voltage available in your area corresponds to
the operating voltage stated on the type label.
ƒ Do not continue to use the unit if the unit or the line cord are damaged.
Repair work must be done by a qualified service technician.
ƒ Do not conduct the line cord over sharp edges and corners or hot
surfaces.
ƒ Do not expose the drum fan to water or moisture.
ƒ Do not use the fan close to fires.
ƒ
Operate the fan only indoors.
ƒ Never insert your hand or other objects into the fan guard during operation.
ƒ Do not cover the fan during operation.
ƒ The fan may only be operated with installed fan guard. The fan blades are
sharp and can cause injuries.
ƒ Pull the power plug while the unit is not in operation or when cleaning the unit.
Do not pull the cord to unplug from the wall socket but grasp the plug itself to
unplug.
ƒ Do not disassemble the unit or attempt to repair it yourself. It does not
contain parts serviceable by you. In case of questions or problems, turn to
our customer support.
