Operation
Use a suitable set of pliers to remove the
spring ring and remove the upper shim.
Pull out the complete blade from the shaft.
Remove the inner shim that is between the
assembled parts of the blade. Lubricate all
moving parts with a suitable lubricant.
First, place the inner shim in the new blade.
Adjust shaft and inner shim in such a way
that the new blade can be attached to the
shaft.
Reattach the hex screws and the o-rings and washers. Do not screw down
the hex screws too tight.
Reattach the blade cover to the housing and secure it with the four screws.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Oil the blade with machine oil after cleaning and before using the hedge
trimmer again.
When cleaning or maintaining the hedge trimmer, first disconnect from power
mains.
Remove dirt from the blades with a scrubbing brush or a small brush.
Do not clean the housing with sharp detergents or aggressive chemicals in
order not to damage the surfaces. Use only a lightly moistened cloth for
cleaning. Clean the ventilation slots with a soft brush.
Store the hedge trimmer in a dry, dust-free and frost-protected place.
