Assembling and Operation
1. Mount the scales to the front edge of the table and the extension tables
with the included Allen head screws.
2. The mounting holes in the table are already threaded; at the extensions
the included nuts must be used. The slotted holes allow for precise
positioning of the scales in relation to the saw blade.
Mounting the Cranks (K and L)
A shaft extends out of the front of the machine and another one out of the right
side. The shafts are flat on one side.
1. Attach the cranks in such a way that the screw in the crank can be
tightened against the flat surface.
2. Tighten the screws and fix the cranks against the shafts. With the forward
crank (K) you can adjust the cutting depth, with the crank (L) at the side,
the saw blade can be tilted by up to 45°.
Installing and Adjusting the Riving Knife (G)
The riving knife (G) is absolutely necessary for
safe working with a circular saw. Correctly
adjusted, it prevents the work piece from
getting caught in the rear of the blade and
being violently thrown upwards.
1. To install and adjust the riving knife, the
table insert I must be removed.
2. Use the crank (K) to move the saw blade
up as far as possible, and the tilt it over
45° with the crank (L).
3. Loosen both Allen head screws
located behind the saw blade.
4. Now insert the riving knife
between the retainer and the
clamping piece.
5. Adjust it in such a way that the
gap between riving knife and saw blade is not wider than 5 mm. Tighten
the Allen head screws and recheck the riving knife for clearance.
6. Finally, reattach the table insert.
