Using
Before first Use
ƒ
Before using the first time, clean all parts of the appliance.
ƒ Clean the appliance with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as needed.
ƒ Do not wash the appliance or the add-on parts in a dishwasher or immerse it in
water or any other liquids.
ƒ After cleaning dry all parts thoroughly.
Operating the Unit
ƒ Make sure that the multi-roaster sits steadily on a solid, level surface.
ƒ Add the desired accessories (roasting grate (2) or 2-sided grilling and frying
plate (4)) including the lid (1).
ƒ Plug in the unit to the power mains. Turn the thermostat (8) clockwise to the
very right in order to pre-heat the appliance (5 – 10 min). The control lamp (7)
lights up during heating. Smell observed for a short time during the first heat-
ing procedures of the multi-roaster is perfectly normal.
ƒ The very right position (highest temperature) of the thermostat is intended for
roasting, grilling, frying and baking.
ƒ Set the thermostat to the middle position to keep all ingredients warm after
roasting or baking.
ƒ After use, turn the thermostat counter clockwise to the very left position and
allow the unit to cool down. Always unplug the device after use to disconnect it
from the power supply.
Notes:
ƒ Do not use the roasting grate and the 2-sided grilling plate at the same
time
.
ƒ When using the roasting grate, make sure that no fluids drip onto the heating
element. Wrap food such as potatoes into aluminium foil before frying.
