Using
Before first Use
Remove the blade cover (6) from the blade (5) and the protection cover for the
spikes (4) and clean all parts of the apple peeler before first use.
Using
1. Make sure that the apple peeler (1) sits steadily on
a solid, level surface. Press down the suction feet
(2) on the surface.
2. First, reattach the protection cover (6) on the blade
(5) to be able to handle the blade securely and not
to injure yourself. Make sure the blade engages
audibly and visibly on the blade attachment (8).
3. Mount the crank (3) on the main unit (1). Push the
crank up to the end on the housing. Turn the crank
and make sure the blade attachment can be easily
turned. Turn the crank until the blade attachment
rises to the highest position.
4. Remove the blade cover (6) and the protection
cover for the spikes (4).
5. Spike the apple horizontally on the spikes. Turn the
crank and allow the blade attachment to peel the
apple with gentle pressure. Never grasp with your
hand into the blade attachment until you turn the
crank.
6. After peeling the apple, turn the blade attachment
to its highest position again and remove the apple.
Cleaning and Storing
ƒ After each use, clean all parts of the apple peeler
and protect the blade and the spikes with the
protection covers.
ƒ Clean all parts of the apple peeler (except of the main unit) in warm soapy
water and rinse all parts thoroughly. Dry well before using again. Do not clean
the main unit in the dishwasher and do not immerse it into water. Only wipe
the main unit with a dry or lightly moistened cloth to remove residues.
ƒ
Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order not to damage the
surfaces. Store the apple peeler out of reach of children.
