Safety Notes
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating
the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third
party!
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised or briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Never leave the induction hotplate unsupervised when in use. Keep out of
reach of children or persons in need of supervision. Place the unit on a firm
surface and make sure it cannot tip over.
The unit must not be operated by means of an external timer or a separate
remote-control system.
Always keep sufficient distances to walls and the ceiling. The min. distance to
the ceiling should be 100 cm. The distance to the wall should be at least
15 cm and the distance to other objects around the hotplate should be at
least 10 cm.
Do not operate the unit in the vicinity of a sink or close to strong heat
sources.
Do
not connect the unit to the same outlet with other units. The hotplate
needs a separate electrical circuit.
Do not touch the cooking plate directly after cooking. There is risk of burns.
The induction hotplate does not heat up itself during cooking, but the tem-
perature of the cookware heats up the cooking plate!
Do not place any metal kitchen utensils, cookware or pan lids, knives or other
metal objects on the cooking plate. These may heat up when the unit is
turned on. Do not place any magnetically objects like credit cards, cassettes
etc. on the glass surface while the unit is in operation.
On order to avoid overheating, do not place any aluminium foil or metal plates
on the cooking plate.
Do not insert any objects like wires or tools into the ventilation slots. Attention:
this may cause electric shocks.
Do not heat up any unopened tins on the induction hotplate. These tins may
explode.
Please note the following advices to avoid malfunctions,
damage and injuries:
