Installation and Using
Before first Use
Remove all parts from the packaging. Keep packaging material out of reach of
children. There is risk of suffocation!
Inserting/replacing the Battery
1. Unscrew the screw of the battery compartment lid (6) and remove the lid.
2. Carefully pull down the battery terminals and connect the battery, observe
right polarity. The unit needs a 9 V battery of the type 6LR61.
3. Insert the battery into the housing and tighten the battery compartment lid. Do
not tighten the screw too much.
Remove the spent battery as soon as possible and always replace the battery
with a fresh one of the same type. Leaking batteries can cause damage to the
electronic circuits.
ATTENTION! Do not use the inspection cameras with opened battery com-
partment lid!
ON/OFF Switch
1. To switch on the inspection camera, turn the ON/OFF switch (5) in direction
ON.
2. To switch off the unit, turn the ON/OFF switch in direction OFF.
Using
1. Remove the protection foil from the display (4) and switch on the unit by
turning the ON/OFF switch. On the LC display you will see the live view of the
camera head. For adjusting the brightness of the LED, turn the rotary switch
up to the end in direction ON.
2. Insert the gooseneck into the area that has to be inspected. Bend the
gooseneck if necessary.
3. When inspecting liquid filled objects resp. when immersing the camera head
into liquids, make sure liquids cannot enter the display. The LC display is not
water-proof.
The camera head and the gooseneck are water-proof, but not acid and
fireproof. Do not immerse the camera head into hot, oily and acid substances.
4. If you do not use the inspection camera, switch off in order not to drain the
battery unnecessarily.
