Operation
This network test set can check the following kind of cables:
Preparation
•
Remove the battery compartment cover on the testing unit
and connect a 9 V block battery to the battery clip.
• Insert the battery into the battery compartment and close the
battery compartment cover.
Operation
Caution!
Never connect a network cable to the tester while any equipment is
at its other jack. This can damage the network test set.
•
Connect one jack of the network cable to the terminal marked
with a triangle.
•
Connect the other jack to the second terminal beside or to
the network cable terminator.
• Press the power-button. The red LED above the button starts
flashing. The Network cable tester is ready.
•
Start the checking program by pressing the pushbutton at the
side.
