6. Carefully remove the roller bases from one side and lift up the lever
arm. Repeat the procedure for the opposite side of the furniture.
Troubleshooting
ƒ If the furniture cannot be moved or moves very heavily, adjust the
castors of the roller base so that the castors are facing in the same
direction.
ƒ To avoid damages such as scratches and running groves on
sensitive grounds while shunting furniture, make sure the ground
and the castors of the roller base are free from dirt. To avoid run-
ning groves on sensitive ground such as cork flooring, always place
a sturdy plate under the castors of the roller base.
ƒ Because of wide joints on tiled flooring, moving the roller bases can
be difficult and come to a stop. Move the furniture very slowly on
such grounds.
ƒ The furniture moving set is not suitable to shunt furniture on shag
pile carpets.
ƒ If the furniture is unstable and tend to tip easily, place the roller
bases on the extreme corners of the furniture. Make sure the furni-
ture corners are positioned completely over the four roller bases.
Cleaning and Storing
ƒ Clean the castors with a dry or light moistened cloth only.
ƒ Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning in order
not to damage the surfaces.
ƒ Preferably store the furniture moving set in the original packaging in
a dry location. Protect the set from dust and dirt.
