Operation
Selecting the Location
The mole repeller works in a radius of 15 meters. Thus, the
protected area is approx. 700 m
2
. To allow the unit to operate
efficiently, make sure no obstructions are around the protected
area. For best results, it is advisable to install two mole repel-
lers that way so the operational ranges overlap.
Place the mole repeller close to the worst rodent infestation.
Inserting the Batteries
The mole repeller needs 4 alkaline batteries of the type LR20 (D)
for operation.
Please note! The screw cap is fixed under the hole of the figure.
1. Remove the battery compartment from the pole and insert the
batteries observing right polarity (+pole above). The battery
symbols are marked inside the battery compartment.
When the batteries are correctly inserted, you will hear a
sound.
2. Insert the battery compartment into the pole and re-tighten the
screw cap by turning clockwise.
Setting the Pole
Depending on the soil the pole can be set with or without
drilling a pilot hole with a depth of 35 cm. Be very careful
when exerting pressure on the unit. Excessive pressure may
destroy the unit.
Insert the pole vertically into the soil. Do not beat with a
hammer or similar on the mole repeller.
The best performance with the mole repeller will be achieved
after operating the mole repeller for up to 7 days continuously.
The ground rodents need some time to recognize the mole
repeller and start to move away from this area.
