Operation
Electrical Connection
The device is directly connected to the car battery
and binder 15. The red cable is connected to the
positive pole, the black cable is connected to
binder 15, which you find at the plug for the car
radio which is marked according to the Euro Norm.
Having established this type of connection, the
device works only when the ignition is turned off.
Hint: In the EU states it is absolutely necessary
that the marten repeller is installed that way, so it
can only be operated with switched-off engine,
never while the engine is running.
General Notes
When your car already has been visited by mar-
tens, most likely the animals have left their marks
for the identification of their area. These odours
must unconditionally be removed before installing
the marten repeller. Or other martens could even
enter a bite protected engine compartment. To
prevent this, washing the motor thoroughly is
suggested. Furthermore, the animals leave their
marks frequently under the vehicle, e.g. on the car
park. Therefore it is recommendable to remove
these traces with detergents and mop. This way
