Operation

If the grinding unit does not turn when set to a
very fine setting, you will have to select a
coarser setting. If the grinding unit still does
not turn, it may be blocked. Select the coars-
est setting and shake the pepper mill back
and forth until the grinding unit operates
again.

If the grinding unit fails to turn frequently even at coarse setting
or if it only turns very slowly, the batteries are flat. In this case,
replace the 6 batteries with a complete new set. Do not mix
rechargeable batteries with ordinary batteries or new ones with
flat batteries. Use only alkaline batteries.
Cleaning

Preferably, clean the container immediately before you intend to
fill it with new pepper or salt.

Only use a lightly moistened cloth to clean the outside housing.
Do not use any aggressive detergents or similar for cleaning. Do
not use any metallic or sharp tools as this could damage the
surface of the unit.

Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other fluids.
