Using
Using the padlock without alarm
The alarm padlock can be used as standard padlock without
alarm.
1. Mount the fastening bracket on a suitable place.
2. Insert the shaped part of the shackle into the opening with the
contact pin (5). As the shackle does not touch the contact pin,
the alarm is not activated.
3. Secure the desired object, turn the key counter clockwise and
remove the key.
Using as Alarm Padlock
1. To activate the alarm, open the padlock with the key.
2. Remove the shackle, turn through 180° and insert the shackle
into the openings. The contact pin is pushed inwards. You can
hear a confirmation tone. After 15 seconds the alarm will be
activated.
3. Lock the padlock and remove the key.
If the alarm padlock is shaken you will hear three short tones
first and after shaking the padlock again the alarm siren will
sound.
These three short warning tones signalise that the alarm pad-
lock is in alarm stand-by mode. During this time you can unlock
the padlock with the key without activating the alarm siren.
After the three short warning tones the alarm siren will sound
for 10 seconds if the padlock is shaken again.
If the padlock is not shaken, it remains in alarm stand-by mode.
After each vibration the alarm siren will sound for 10 seconds.
4. To switch off the alarm siren, open the padlock, turn the
shackle through 180° and reinsert into the openings.
