Troubleshooting/Maintenance
If the tape cannot be
stapled, it might happen that
the staples get stuck.
Use a small slot screwdriver
or a piece of wire and
remove the stuck staples.
If the stuck staples cannot
be removed easily, pull out
the staple holder and
remove the loaded staples
and the stuck staples.
Carefully tap the tapetool in
order to remove all staples.
Changing the Blade
When the tape cannot be cut
off by the tapetool although
you depress the handle up to
the end, the blade is worn
and has to be replaced.
Replace the blade by a new
one of the same type.
Caution! The blade is spiky
and very sharp. Make sure
not to hurt yourself.
1. Remove all staples from
the magazine in order not to waste staples while changing the blade.
2. Press down the bottom part of the magazine until the blade becomes fully
visible. Use pliers to pull out the blade.
3. Insert the new blade with pliers into the blade holder and carefully press
down. Make sure not to break out the edges of the blade.
