Operation
Intended Use
The double grinder is designed for dry grinding only. The two
vitrified bonded grinding wheels are suitable for grinding metal
and hard metal.
The intended use also includes an operation following the operating
instructions.
Any further use (different media, applying force) or unauthorised changes
(reconstruction, no original accessories) can lead to danger and are meant
to be not in accordance with regulations.
Assembling and setting up the Bench Grinder
Before undertaking any work on the machine, pull the power plug.
1. Before start-up, use the supplied installation material to install the work
piece support (10/15), the visors (4/9) and the spark protections (3/8) at
both grinding wheels.
2. Install the work piece support in a distance shorter than 2 mm to the
grinding wheel. Unscrew the adjusting screw (14) when adjusting the
distance.
3. Check this distance regularly while using the grinder because the diameter
of the wheel decreases over time during use.
4. Next, install the spark protection (3/8), as pictured. Install it as close as
possible to the grinding wheel (max. 2 mm distance).
5. Install the visors (4/9) at the spark protection.
