Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
ƒ Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance.
ƒ Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
ƒ Use the unit only for mixing food and liquids.
ƒ If the power cable is damaged, please do not use the unit any time longer. It
should be repaired by a professional.
ƒ Do not lead the cable around sharp corners or over hot surfaces. Do not let
the motor unit, cord or plug get wet.
ƒ Only immerse the blender attachment into liquids. Do not mix liquids or food if
the temperature is higher than 70° C.
ƒ Be very careful when the unit is used in the presence of children.
ƒ Make sure not to get hurt when handling the blade.
ƒ Do not use the unit outdoors or close to open flames, heaters or other hot
objects or other heat sources.
ƒ Pull the power cord and turn off the unit before assembling, when it is not in
use or when it is cleaned.
ƒ Never pull on the power cable, but grasp the plug itself to unplug. Avoid
handling with wet hands.
ƒ Before cleaning or storing the unit, allow it to cool down.
ƒ Do not disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. The unit does
not contain parts serviceable by you.
ƒ The unit is only intended for domestic use and not for continuous professional
operation.
