Operation
Application
ƒ
This pump is only intended for pumping rain water. Do not use it to deliver
aggressive chemicals, sewage, acidic or flammable liquids as well as
abrasive substances.
ƒ Do not allow solids to enter the pump. Gravel, silt, sand or similar material
may damage the pump.
Mounting the Pump
1. Put he pump cylinder (4) on the foundation and align the holes at the pump
base.
2. Mark the holes and drill 4 holes into the foundation at the marked positions by
using a suited drill.
3. Insert dowel pins into the drilled holes in accordance to the screw seize.
4.a) You can connect the pump on a water pipe, 1 ¼”, or
4.b) you can use the enclosed adapter (13) to connect a suction hose,
diameter 1 ½”.
Please seal up with sealing tape or hemp and fix the suction hose using a
hose clip.
5. Adjust the pump cylinder (4) and mount it on the drilled holes by using screws
adapted for the foundation.
6. Lower the valve (11) into the pump cylinder (4) by using the attached pull-out
hook (12).
7. Put the mounted pump handle with the piston rod and the mounted piston
(Fig. 1) into the pump cylinder.
8. Collimate the holes of the flange connection and bolt together the pump
handle and the enclosed Allen screws (3).
Operation
Before using at first fill approximately 1 l water into the opening of the pump cap
(5) to start the pump. If the pump is not in use for a duration of time it may be
necessary to fill in water again.
The hook for watering can (6) is suitable to hang up a bucket or a watering can.
So you can fill comfortably the container.
