Using
Before first Use
ƒ Unpack the cable reel and check the components for damage in
transit.
ƒ Keep packaging materials and bags out of reach of children.
Plastic bags might become a deadly toy for children.
Using
1. Insert the power plug into a
wall socket. The power
indicator (A) turns on.
2. Slowly pull out the desired
length of the cord for
connecting the consumer. You
will hear a clicking sound every
half revolution of the drum.
The cord remains in this
position due to the built-in
automatic stop function.
3. To coil up the cord, pull out a little bit and allow it to retract. The
automatic cord retractor retracts the cord until it stops at the cord
guide. To avoid damages to the cable reel, always hold on the
cord while it is retracting.
Completely unroll the cord if you use a consumer load of up to
2000 W. When using consumers up to 1400 W you do not need
to unroll the cord.
4. Connect the plug of the consumer to the socket in the cable reel.
5. In case of the cable reel overheats during use, the built-in, re-
settable thermal protection will switch off the cable reel. The
thermal protection protects the cable reel against inadmissible
overheating. Pull the power plug and disconnect the consumer
from the cable reel. Allow the cable reel to cool down first and
then press the push button (B).
