Safety Notes and Operating
ƒ Never overheat the pan (for ex. by heating up when empty) at this can
damage the cookware, the non-stick coating and the cooking zone!
ƒ Never leave children unattended close to a hot pan.
ƒ Do not cut in the pan. Use wooden, plastic or silicone kitchen utensils to stir.
ƒ Do not allow food residue to dry onto the pan. Simply wipe out the pan with
kitchen towel or clean the pan with hot water and detergent.
Using
Remove the label from the pan and screw the handle
on the pan (see picture).
Before first use, rinse the pan under hot water. Dry
the pan and rub the coating lightly with edible oil or
shortening.
Use the cooking zone whose diameter corresponds to the diameter of the pan.
Frying with Fat
Always put the fat into the empty pan before heating it up. Turn up the heat to
high temperature. When the fat begins to some lightly place the food to be fried
into the pan. This way you avoid overheating the non-stick coating.
Frying without Fat
Heat up the pan to medium temperature at most and make sure not to overheat
the pan and the food to be fried.
Cleaning
ƒ Clean the pan only by hand.
ƒ Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners which contain sand or the
abrasive side of sponges.
ƒ Use a soft cloth to dry the pan and wipe the pan with little edible oil.
