Safety Notes
Please note the following advices to avoid malfunctions,
damage and injuries:
ƒ Please read the instruction manual carefully and use the heating cushion
only according to this manual.
ƒ If the heating cushion or the power connector are damaged do not use
the unit. Repair work must be done by a qualified technician.
ƒ The unit may only be connected to 12 V DC socket.
ƒ Do not use the heating cushion while it is folded or buckled too much.
ƒ Do not use the heating cushion when it is moistened or wet.
ƒ Never stick needles or similar objects into the heating cushion.
ƒ Keep the heating cushion away from flames or other hot objects.
ƒ Do not kneel on the heating cushion to avoid damaging the heating wires.
ƒ Do not use the unit outdoors.
ƒ Never use the heating cushion for people in need of supervision, infants
(under 3 years of age), or persons who are unsusceptible to heat.
ƒ Do not wash the heating cushion. Only use a cloth slightly moistened for
slight soiling and let the heating cushion dry completely before use.
ƒ For strong soiling use a clothes brush or a similar object. Do not exert too
much pressure on the heating cushion.
ƒ Unplug the unit if you do not use it or intend to clean it. Never pull on the
line cord, but grasp the plug itself to unplug.
ƒ Always remove the plug from the cigarette lighter if you leave your car or
the heating cushion is without any supervision.
ƒ Never disassemble the unit or try to repair it yourself. The heating
cushion does not contain parts serviceable by you.
