Operation
Forward/Reverse Switch
1. To change the running direction, press the forward/reverse switch (7). In the
position „R“ the machine runs clockwise. In the position „L“ the machine runs
counter clockwise.
2. Attention: Never change the forward/reverse switch while the machine is
operating. First switch off the machine and wait until the motor comes to
standstill. Thereafter you can change the running direction.
Operating
1. To switch ON the stirring machine, press the ON/OFF trigger (9). When you
release the trigger the machine stops. The more you press the ON/OFF
trigger the higher the speed will be.
2. If you want to use the stirring machine continuously, first press the ON/OFF
trigger and then the locking button (6). To switch OFF the machine, depress
the ON/OFF trigger fully and the locking button will be released.
In order to stir the mass evenly with constant speed, it might be necessary to
readjust the revolution speed control during stirring. Lots of materials become
highly viscous during stirring process, so the rotation speed of the motor will
decrease.
Hints for appropriate stirring of the used Material
ƒ Thoroughly stirring of the different compositions that are nowadays in use,
prevents structural damage and expensive follow-up costs. Therefore you
should observe some urgent basic rules.
ƒ Tough and weighty materials overcharge drilling machines. Please utilise
specially-designed stirring machines for this purpose, e.g. this, with optimally
tuned revolution speed and power transmission.
ƒ
Please consider the flow direction when selecting the agitator paddle.
ƒ Mix powdered materials form from the bottom up, and fluid material top-down
or in parallel flow direction. Immersing the tool, a reduced revolution speed
prevents splashing.
ƒ
For your own safety, please wear goggles and, if necessary, a dust mask.
Never temper solvents with a flashpoint below 21° C. Please note processing
and safety instructions of material supplier.
