4. Insert the plug of the hedge trimmer in the socket of the
extension pole (10).

Connect the power cord of the extension pole with a wall
socket or an extension cable.
6. Put the shoulder strap on your shoulder and adjust to the desired length or
completely remove the strap when disused.
7. To start the hedge trimmer, press and hold the safety switch (12) pressed and
press the ON/OFF switch (13).
With the handle adjustment (11)
on the extension pole you can
incline the hedge trimmer to an
angle up to 90° to the left and to
the right.
Before changing the angle of
inclination or moving the handle
adjustment, disconnect the plug
from power mains.
8. Press the handle and the pole together and turn the handle in direction 0°
resp. 90°. Loose the handle in order to allow the handle adjustment to lock
into the desired stop.
9. After trimming, disassemble the extension pole and screw the protection cap
on the pole connection (6).
Changing the Carbon Brushes
1. To change the carbon brushes, unscrew both, black caps (9) with a suitable
screwdriver and remove the caps. Behind the caps you will find the carbon
brushes.
2. Insert the new included carbon brushed into place and tighten the cap again.
Changing the Blades
Replace the blades only if they are completely dull. The change of the blades
demands a little bit of skill. When ordering replacement parts you will get a
detailed instruction for changing the blades.
