Safety Notes
Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or
physical injury
ƒ Please keep the packaging bags out of the hands of children. The bags may
become a deadly toy for small children.
ƒ Do not immerse the scale in liquids and do not allow water to enter the key
pad. Do not use the key pad with wet hands.
ƒ Do not expose the scale to excessive temperatures, strong vibrations, direct
sunlight or high levels of humidity and avoid strong mechanical stresses.
ƒ Never place the appliance near or on hot surfaces. Store the scale always
flat.
ƒ Please keep all parts of the scale clean at all times as they come into direct
contact with food.
ƒ Do not use aggressive chemicals to clean the unit. Use only a moist cloth.
ƒ
Do not disassemble the unit; it does not contain parts serviceable by you.
ƒ if the appliance become damaged have it repaired by a professional or
contact our customer support department.
ƒ Do not use the unit in or close to water or other liquids.
ƒ Do not mix rechargeable batteries and non-rechargeable batteries and use
only batteries of the same type.
ƒ If you do not plan to use the unit for some time, remove the batteries.
Batteries do not belong in household garbage.
