  This ratchet tie down set is only intended to tie down loads. Do not knot the 

straps. 

ƒ

  The ratchet tie down set is NOT suitable for carrying or lifting loads! 

ƒ

  Warning: Avoid eye injuries. Do not overstretch the tension ropes. Always 

keep face and body out of recoil path. Do not use when the tension rope has 
visible signs of wear or damage. 

ƒ

  Do not store the ratchet tie down set close to heat sources and do not 

continuously expose the units to direct sunlight. 

ƒ

  If the units of the ratchet tie down set are worn or ripped, do not continue 

using them. Replace them immediately with new one. 

ƒ

  Do not exceed the maximum lashing capacity (see specifications in the table 

Technical Data on the type labels). Please note that due to wind accelerating 
and lateral forces may occur when fastening the load on a vehicle. 

ƒ

  Make sure that the fastening points on a vehicle are suitable and firm enough 

to hold the load. 

ƒ

  The working temperature for the ratchet tie down is from -20 to +60 °C. 

ƒ

  Do not pull the tension ropes and straps over rough and sharp edges. 

ƒ

  To securely fasten the load, do not use the ratchet tie down with less than 1.5 

wraps on the ratchet (roll) but with max. 3 wraps. 

ƒ

  Do not disassemble and do not try to repair the straps. The ratchet tie down 

set does not contain parts serviceable by you.  

Tension Ropes 

1.  Hook one side of the tension rope and wrap the rope around the object to be 

fastened.  

2.  Tension the other side of the tension rope and fasten the hook on a suitable 

place. To fasten the object more securely, use two tension ropes and fasten 
the ropes crosswise. 

Strap with Ratchet 

1.  Fasten the hook of the strap (without the 

ratchet) e. g. on the frame of your trailer 
and pull the strap around the object to be 
fastened.  

2.  Take the strap with the ratchet and thread 

the already fastened strap through the slot 
of the roll. Tense the strap a little bit.
