Operation
Inserting / Replacing the Batteries
1. Turn the battery compartment lid (1) counter clockwise and open
the battery compartment. Pay attention not to damage the cable.
2. Insert two new batteries of the type LR44. Pay attention to the
proper polarity of the batteries. The plus pole has to face inside
the battery compartment.
3. Turn the battery compartment lid (1) clockwise to close the
battery compartment. Pay attention not to jam the cable.
Activate and use Laser
1. Before first use pull out the transparent transportation safety strip
from the battery compartment (1).
2. Press the On/Off button (3) to activate the laser.
3. Perform the desired cuts and hold the scissors in the hand as
usual.
4. Before cutting make a mark on the opposite side of the material
to be cut.
5. Exactly align the laser with the mark.
6. When cutting focus on the target position and keep the laser
aligned with the mark.
7. Turn off the laser after each use.
Adjusting Laser Beam
In order to perform exact straight cuts, it is important to let the laser
run exactly along the blade of the scissors.
Activate the laser and use a small screwdriver to adjust the two
adjusting screws (2) to the desired position until the laser beam runs
straight along the blade.
