Operation
Before first Use
Remove the bench shear and the accessory out of the packaging and check for
any damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is
risk of suffocation!
Intended Use
The bench shear is designed for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous sheet material
and plastic material. The bench shear can be used in workshops, metalworking
shops, automotive repair shops, as well as for commercial and private model-
making.
Assembly
1. Mount the lever arm (1) on the
bench
shear
by
using
the
included screws, see fig. on the
right. If
desired
mount
the
extension handle (8) on the lever
arm in order to increase the
leverage action.
2. For mounting the handle, use the
included mounting material (9
and 10).
3. Bolt down the bench shear by
means of the provided mounting
holes on the base on a sturdy
and
stable
workbench.
For
mounting the bench shear, use at
least 10 mm screws. Make sure
to have enough space around the
unit for safe operation.
4. The bench shear is lubricated with a special trans-fat. Remove this fat before
the first use with cleansing oil or gasoline. Afterwards oil all bare parts again.
Cutting Sheet Material
1. Position the sheet material to be cut between the upper and the lower shear
blade (5 and 6).
